Known as the "Red City" because of it's year round sunshine.
Location
Morocco is located in Northwestern Africa. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the West side, and the Mediterranean Sea on the North side. On the East/ Southeast side, it is bordered by Algeria. It's absolute location is 32.7502 degrees North and 6.1916 degrees West.
Weather and Climate
In Morocco, you can have different types of weather dependent on where you are. The most common is hot and dry. The temperature all around is usually between 41 degrees Fahrenheit to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. On the coast, it is more warm and they have a hotter, drier continental climate. November-March is when the coast experiences the most rainfall. Going to the southern part of Morocco, it will be hot and dry also but some nights, the temperature will drop dramatically. The climate type in Morocco is tropical and subtropical.
2 Physical Characteristics
Morocco has two unique physical characteristics. One is that they have Atlas Mountain, which has an elevation of 13,671 feet. The second characteristic is that part of the Sahara Desert is in Morocco. The Sahara is the world's hottest desert

- Do not drink alcohol- especially around Mosques(It's very inconsiderate)
- Woman wear djellabas and headscarves
- Greet people of the same sex with a soft handshake
- Public display of affection between opposite sexes
- No eating during Ramadan
- Don't wear revealing clothing
