RtI Information
RtI will be held after school on Thursdays. Each meeting will be around 20 minutes. Please come prepared so the meeting doesn't have to be rescheduled. RtI Intervention log and the RtI Data Sheet are needed for each meeting. Ms. Rehfuss will send home the RtI parent letter letting them know when the meeting will be held. Please communicate your concerns with parents so the letter home isn't the first time they are being told about their child's struggles. I have linked the RtI Agenda for your viewing pleasure.
Did someone says JEANS?!?!?!
As we discussed in our inservice, if you join PTA, contribute to LEF and pay your Sunshine dues, you will be given a Spirit Stick to wear on your badge. This allows you to wear jeans, with professional top and shoes, one time a week on the day of your choice. Please print the BOY Checklist, complete it and put it in Tracy's box for your Spirit Stick.
2019-2020 LEAD
BOY goal conferences will begin soon! Be watching your Outlook email for an invite.
Reminders:
- Be sure to check the lunch/homework table if you have lunch duty for grade level items.
- LEF Giving Campaign runs through August 29th
- While working loop duty have parents pull all the way forward
- If you ever hear music playing overhead, after students have left, that's our signal that you can leave before 3:45.
Slight Adjustments:
- Team Shirt Tuesday will be the first ad last Tuesday of the month
- There will be a 7:35 bell; please move your pick up times up in the mornings. Just a little about some of my favorites...
The Lady Train
I started teaching with these girls 18 years ago. They are my people in the good times and bad. Every year we take a girls trip, and as many times a year as we can we go to Scottsdale to be our sweet Jenny that moved back home when her parents were ill. We refer to ourselves as the LadyTrain because on our first girls trip we were floating a river, holding on to each other's tube and a boy, about 7 years old, yelled, "look dad, it's a lady train!" The name stuck!
Gator Head
My parents live in East Texas on Lake Fork, but have a place in Galveston--- we love to spend time there! We refer to it as Gator Head because we found a gator skull at the edge of the canal on our first visit. We love riding dirt bikes and our golf carts on the beach, especially when it is too chilly to get in the water. This is my daredevil, Carson Elizabeth.
The one that called me mom first
Zachary Thomas is my adventure filled son that is stressed if he doesn't have another trip booked before he returns from the current one. He is in nursing school and is a proud graduate from HHS and ACMS. One of our favorite things to do together is brunch on the weekends and catch up on hot gossip.
