Highlights of the Week
The main highlight from this past week was swimming lessons. After Monday, and having no busses running, I was happy to see that we could go to Stettler on Tuesday and Thursday to enjoy the pool. There were lots of smiling faces in the pool as their instructors challenged them to improve. Swimming is such an important life skill. I am gratiful to the Parent Council for providing the transporation, as well as the Stettler Recreation Center for lessons.
Below are pictures from our snowday. We had a little over half of our students in attendance which gave the opportunity for our older students to take on a leadership role and run a variety of centers in our Makerspace.
Swimming Lessons will Continue Tuesdays & Thursdays

Parent-Teacher Interviews
Parent-Teacher Interviews are Scheduled for Thursday, March 14th. Please contact the office to book a time to meet with your child's teacher. Having the opportunity to collaborate with parents is very important to our staff as we strive to best meet the learning needs of our students.
To Our Bus Parents,
As a way to help our school and our bus drivers, can you please let Bob and Mary know the night before (if possible) that you child(ren) will not be on the bus in the morning. Also let the school and your bus driver know if you child(ren) is not going to be on the bus after school. There is a lot of after school activities that pull kids in different directions, and it would help us supervise the end of the day and ensure all our students are safe and going where they are supposed to be. Thanks in advance for you help in this matter.
Student of the Week - Danica Bjorge
Student of the Week - Eva Normand
Eva is amazing! She's kind to everyone and says nice things about her classmates' work. She helps keep our class neat and organized, showing everyone how it's done. Even when things are tough, Eva never gives up. She believes challenges are chances to get better and says, "I can't do it. Yet." when learning something new. Congrats, Eva, on being the Student of the Week!
