Welcome to Field Explore Session One!
- June 1st-Curriculum Training for Field Explore Teachers: Click the link below to access the detailed schedule. Field teachers are Cohort A, Session 1. The training will be at Parkview High School.
- June 4th-We will have a staff meeting/orientation at 9:00 a.m. in the Field Library. The meeting with be brief and the remainder of the day will be time for you to work in your classrooms.
- The first day of Explore is Tuesday, June 5th. Explore contract time is 8:35 a.m.-3:35 p.m. (dependent on duty schedule).
- Explore begins on Tuesday June 5th and ends on Friday, June 29th.

- Please add your name to this list if you ARE CPI CERTIFIED.
TAKE NOTE:
During the prep time you are given on June 1st and 4th, it is an expectation that classroom teachers call students on their roster to welcome them and to remind them of the June 5th start date. This practice is important any time, but especially this year since there will be a number of days between the last day of the school year and the first day of Explore. Thank you!
Mandatory Video: In Case You Want to Get Ahead...
All staff will need to complete the required Missouri Dept. of Health and Human Services training.
Scroll to the bottom of each video and hit ”next” to get to each video (6 in all).
You will be required to sign-off on the training by the end of the work day on the 4th in the office.

Meet Angie Carder!
I began my teaching career at Doling Elementary, where I taught for seven years before transferring to Mark Twain, then to McBribe where I taught for two years. I then served as the Assistant to the Principal at Disney & Wanda Gray Elementary for two years prior to being named principal at Wanda Gray in January 2009.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends! I am a wife to Sonny, I have two daughters, Kelsey and Allie who are both now college students. My hobbies include, reading, enjoying the outdoors, sitting by the pool, watching movies and enjoying the life I've been given.
I am very excited to work with you this summer! I have an open door policy and am willing to help and support you in any way you that you need. I am excited to see the engaging, relevant, and personal learning of the students at Field this summer.

Meet Crystal Magers
My name is Crystal Magers and I am the current principal at Sequiota Elementary! I graduated from Missouri State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and also obtained certification in Early Childhood Education. In 2010, I completed my Master of Science in Education, Educational Administration, also from Missouri State University and am currently per
I began my teaching career at York Elementary, where I taught for three years before transferring to David Harrison Elementary. I then served as the Assistant to the Principal at Wanda Gray Elementary and Wilson's Creek Intermediate. I have been at Sequiota for the last 5 years.
When I am not at school I love spending time with my family. I am a wife to Ryan and a mother of four. I have a nineteen year old daughter, seventeen year old daughter, a twelve year old daughter and a seven year old son. As you can imagine, there is rarely a dull moment at the Magers house! As a family, we love to be outside and stay busy with soccer, gymnastics, basketball, karate and music. We also love anything near water and enjoy watching movies and cooking!
I am passionate about education and ensuring that all students receive the best education possible! My door is always open as I look forward to meeting and building relationships with each and every Field Explore staff member!
