The President of the South was Jefferson Davis the people were satisfied with him but sometimes he would not cooperate with the other politicians.

Economy
The North-They were based on Industry and Bought the cotton and turned it into finished goods. The South-They were based on Farming. They also invented the Cotton Gin.
Slavery, Taxes, and Culture
The North- Did Not want slavery. They thought it was Immoral. They wanted higher taxes, they made their own goods. They were more educated than the South. The South-They wanted Slavery, they thought if they didn't have it then they would go bankrupt. They wanted lower taxes because they actually bought they goods. They are less educated.
Rights
The North-Federal Rights was what they wanted. They thought the Gov. should have more control. The South-States Rights was what they wanted. They thought the Gov. should have less control.
