Dr. Fleetwood Named One of the Regional Teachers of the Year
Dr. Allison Fleetwood has been named one of the Regional Teachers of the Year for southwest Missouri. Dr. Fleetwood advances to be a state finalist for the Missouri Teacher of the Year later this year. The regional award was given out by the Southwest RPDC.
Nixa High School FBLA Students Place Top 15 Nationwide
The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference was held in Chicago June 29 - July 2. Nixa High School had 10 members compete against other states and countries from around the globe.
Nixa High School's parliamentary procedures team, including Dallin Attwooll, Isaiah Holgerson, Lauren Reed, and Abigail Fulnecky, made it to the finals and placed in the top 15 in the world.
Aetos Season 1 Tickets Now On Sale
Season tickets for the first season at Aetos Center for the Performing Arts are now for sale.
You will receive seats for each of the shows coming to Aetos as well as tickets to each of the Nixa High School Theatre productions.
Also, there are no refunds or exchanges, so please choose carefully when choosing seats and dates for shows (only the high school productions have multiple dates at this point in time).

Eagle Stadium Chair Passes: Now On Sale
Chair passes allow you to pick a specific seat that will be yours for the 2022-23 athletic season.
Any District or State events or youth sports will require the purchase of a ticket, but your seat will be reserved for you for those events. The Chair Pass will not work for any non-athletic events or non-school events held at the stadium.
Eagle Stadium Parking Pass: Now On Sale
Access to one parking spot on the south parking lot during varsity football or other high attendance athletic events at Eagle Stadium when parking is expected to be full.
Limited spots are available.
Nixa Student win National Merit Scholarships
National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced an additional 1,200 winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities.
These Merit Scholar designees join more than 2,600 other college-sponsored award recipients who were announced in June.
Dylan Moulder won a scholarship for University of Missouri-Columbia in this round.

Back to School Bash: Volunteers Needed
We supply nearly 700 Nixa students and their families with comfort and piece-of-mind when it comes to back to school. This cannot happen without the time, energy, and dedication of our volunteer teams.
Our volunteers for the Back to School Bash are the life of the event. They ensure our attendees are comforted and find all of the items they need to start their new school year. If you are interested in volunteering in the morning, afternoon, or the whole day, we ask you to complete this brief interest form. We will share more information about your responsibilities and the event as we get closer to the date.
