Sierra Ridge will earn funds based on the total quantity of gently worn, used, and new sneakers collected. GotSneakers, a social enterprise, will issue funds in compensation for the collected sneakers. Ask around…friends, family, and neighbors. Anyone can help!
We will have a Donation Box in the office!

Water Safety
California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW), the Department of Water Resources (DWR), and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) are urging the public to take extra precautions and to be aware of cold-water dangers this spring to avoid a tragedy. The series of winter storms is causing rising river and stream flow levels not seen in years. The eventual spring warm-up will bring fast flows and cold temperatures when all that snow starts to melt. All Californians are being encouraged to wait until summer to recreate in the water when conditions are safer.
The Dental Van Is Coming To Sierra Ridge on Tuesday, May 30th and Wednesday, May 31st. Consent form below. If you need one printed, out we have them in the office. Don't miss out on this opportunity. Fill out the consent form now and return it to Mrs. Tammy in the front office.

A Word about SBAC Testing…
Parents, we are now entering week 2 of SBAC testing. Your students are working hard! That being said, we are trying to limit classroom interruptions during testing. While we understand that some appointments and emergencies are unavoidable, we are requesting that doctor and dental appointments be scheduled outside of school time where possible.
Additionally, please be aware that we will not interrupt classes for early dismissals. Parents can pre-arrange early dismissals at the beginning of the day so we can eliminate classroom disruptions during testing. To prearrange an early dismissal, simply call or email Ms. Becky before school starts. Your student’s teacher will be notified of the time to have your student ready for dismissal.
We truly appreciate your cooperation with this policy. As always, student support is our greatest priority. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ms. Becky at (530) 644-2031 or Bhedrick@ppesd.org
