Notes from the Office
1. If your child will be absent for the day, please call the attendance line at 920-662-7875 and not the main line. Please note that the attendance line will not be checked after 10:00 AM.
2. If you're picking your child up early, please call ahead or send your student with a note. When picking up, you will need to come into the building and provide a license. You will only need to bring in your license the first time so you can be added into our Raptor system.

Mr. Miller's Math
We are working on a unit where we are finding area and perimeter of shapes like rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, and trapezoids. We are trying to do some real life scenarios like decks, porches, parking lots, etc. to see how to find square footage.
As always, we try to finish all of our math in class but as the year progresses some students will need to take out a page or two to finish at home.
Mrs. Kramer's Science
The final assessment for science is a poster that demonstrates understanding of the healing process. Students are taking all that they learned about the body systems/processes and sharing their knowledge to explain how an injury heals.
Mr. Miller's Social Studies
Mrs. Kramer's Language Arts
Students are writing non-fiction books based on a research topic of their choice. Most of the research is done and students are now at least half way through their book. We will be finishing them up next week.
*Reading habits outside of class will be important to maintain. Student have reading WIGs (Wildly Important Goals) to help support these habits. Please ask them about their lead measures and the progress they are making.
Helpful Site for Math
KHAN ACADEMY
One of the apps that students have and an excellent tutorial for math is Khan academy.
The link is as follows: https://www.khanacademy.org/
Students can simply type in their search question or content area they are looking for and it will have a smartboard lesson with audio explain and showing how to work through whatever problems they are looking up. Great site!
