Principal's Message
The first semester is now over and students are continuing to work hard to ensure success in the classroom. I am fully aware how difficult the zoom lessons are, and have had many conversations with students and parents to help increase engagement and motivation. Trust me, you are not alone!!! At eCademy, our team will do anything to support students and families and want to also encourage strong communication, by either calling the school or directly emailing teachers to answer any questions you may have.
The staff is also concerned about the students’ well-being. Have you had the opportunity to join the webinar series with Dr. Lauren Hodges? Dr. Hodges is focusing on the “Fundamentals of Well-Being and Balance.” https://www.turlock.k12.ca.us/domain/1700 The next date on the calendar is Tuesday, February 2nd, from 5:30-6:30 PM. Personally, I have enjoyed the information.
Our one-day WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) visit is Thursday, February 4th, as we continue to look at our school improvement plan. The WASC chairperson, Dr. Brian Jensen, will be visiting the campus, via zoom, to observe teaching and learning, along with having conversation with student and parent cohorts, so valuable feedback can we openly and honestly shared. We truly appreciate the students and parents who are willing to join us on the 4th. Our goal is always to make this school the BEST for you!!! Our School site Council (SSC) will again meet in late February, as a way to continue to engage our parent community in the improvement process.
I’d like to personally thank every family and student for your support throughout the 1st semester along with our amazing faculty and staff for always working at 100% to meet our students’ needs. If you have any questions, feel free to call the front office or email me directly.

Reminders:
All seniors seeking financial aid for college must file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) between October 1, 2020 and March 2, 2021. Students can complete the application online at studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
On Tuesday, February 16 Modesto Junior College will host another application workshop and on Thursday, February 18 an Educational Planning Workshop, to help students who plan to enroll next school year. Students must preregister to receive the Zoom link. Is important for students to complete all the steps early.
If you need help with these steps, please schedule an appointment with Mrs. Imperial.
Students have been invited to schedule an appointment to review their progress and graduation status, many have. I will gladly meet with the parent/guardian to review this information too.
