Team Work
"Much of a teacher's work involves individual effort. We face many tasks and challenges alone. These realities don't alter the fact that we are part of a total educational picture. Neither does it change the fact that if we truly intend to educate the whole student and maximize academic achievement, we need to know what is happening to students throughout their entire educational process." -The Master Teacher Pd\
As each of you continues in your professional journey I want to challenge you to reach out of your own world and into the expertise of others. The greatest growth will come when we stretch ourselves to become involved and communicate with other educators.
I know not everyone has a full functioning PLC that meets regularly. That is tough. Yet, we all have the ability to reach out to colleagues in our building with experience and seek their guidance.
I encourage you to find those that will encourage you and your professional growth. Find those positive people you can glean new knowledge and wisdom from!

ETM's - don't neglect them
There are three types of ETMs and numerous titles from which to choose. ETMs can be completed online or in face-to-face sessions.
As a note..unless currently scheduled, there will be no more PEER observation ETM. The funding availability has dried up.
A full listing of the ETMs available can be found at http://www.bluevalleyk12.org/etm.
