Mrs. Ryberg's News
December 18, 2018
First of all...
I want to personally wish you all a wonderful holiday season and safe travels near and far.
Our 2018-19 HSA shirts came in today!
In class...
+We have been working on graphing and honing our addition skills in math.
+We continue to work on Native Americans and you should have been seeing SeeSaw messages and artifacts.
+The last two weeks have also brought some fun activities including predictions, charting, creating, and writing in all subjects. The video below is of our most recent experiment to see what happens to candy canes in cold and hot water, as well as vinegar and canola oil. The kids made great guesses about what might happen when we dipped them for 10 minutes!
Up and coming ...
December 20th - PJ DAY!
+ Winter Parties & mug exchange
December 21 - January 2 - WINTER BREAK (school resumes January 3rd)
HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY!!
This week...
**THURSDAY IS A SCHOOL-WIDE PAJAMA DAY!
**If you have not already sent in a mug for the exchange on Thursday, please remember to send in a WRAPPED mug with only your child's name, so the recipient knows who to thank. I have received a couple of extras, so if you have a need for a donation, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you to those who were generous enough to send in more.
**Thanks to those who have sent in goodies and volunteered to help with the party on Thursday. Today is the last day to follow the link and get a background check if you want to volunteer and have not done so yet.
HERE is the information about sending things in or coming to help!
NOTE: Some parents have had questions - all of the parties for 2nd grade are at 2:45 p.m. in the gym!
