Congratulations to our November Students of the Month!

7th Grade: Dakota White
- The 7th grade Student of the Month for November is Dakota White. Dakota is the type of student who enjoys a good challenge. Teachers appreciate her level of perseverance. She is always willing to step up and go to the board and work out problems for the class. When placed in a small group setting, Dakota takes on a leadership role. She is respectful to her peers and can be counted on to help explain problems in a more student friendly manner. She is an active participant in lessons and homework is always complete. Congratulations, Dakota White!
8th Grade: Colin Stone
- The November student of the month for 8th grade is very hard working. He is helpful to others and kind. He is very insightful into content during class discussions. He also participates in music club. Congratulations, Colin Stone.
9th Grade: Leah Cochrane
- Leah Cochrane is a diligent student and a polite and thoughtful human being. She quietly goes about her work and is respectful to both teachers and other students. She is actively involved in 4-H and has stepped out of her comfort zone to attend National FFA Convention.
10th Grade: Ethan Vogeler
- Ethan Vogeler’s numerous talents have earned him student of the month for November. Not only is he a strong student academically who always strives to be at his best, he is also a talented artist with numerous pieces on display around the school. In addition, Ethan plays an active leadership role at AFC as a member of the student council and is a friend to all with his fun and contagious sense of humor.
11th Grade: Braiden Runkle
- Braiden is one of the most respectful students that we have here at AFC! He is always engaged in class and does excellent quality work. He is very polite to his classmates and teachers and conducts himself in a very professional manner. Braiden most certainly leads by example and has a very bright future ahead of him!
12th Grade: Mason Munroe
- Mason is a motivated student, he works hard to succeed in his classes and is a team player both in class and when it comes to school sports. He brings his great sense of humor to the classroom and always keeps things light-hearted.
Attention High School Parents/Guardians
Please notify the main office at 815-453-7461 if you do NOT want your student to leave school if exempt from a final exam and/or at 1:40 (when all final exams are finished). Buses will run the normal time of a 3:16 dismissal. If your student does not have permission to leave school, they will have a quiet study hall for that exam period and/or until 3:16 pm.
