PTO Weekly Update
August 14, 2019
Welcome Back!
It's been a busy summer for the 2019-2020 Thornapple Elementary PTO!
We've updated our website! We've added a new "group page" to share all of our sign up's in one place! We purchased some new tables for the lunchroom, cleaned up the playground and have hung new classroom signs! We've been busy planning this year's activities - and we are really excited!
Thank you playground clean up volunteers!
The PTO Board would like to say thank you to all the volunteers who helped us plant, clean, power wash, weed and lay new sand! Our playground is looking better than ever! Middle and High school students, families - current and former, cub scouts - we couldn't have done it without you!
In addition to our updates, we purchased new playground equipment such as balls, nets, etc!
If you are excited about this event, please consider being our co-chair (with the PTO board) for next year. We feel this has the potential to be a yearly event! Email thornappleptoshare@gmail.com for more information!
Important Information for Volunteers!
All volunteers at Thornapple are required to turn in an iChat form before volunteering.
You will receive one in your open house packet, or you can find a copy here: https://www.smore.com/yd5wh
It is important to turn this in at least 2 weeks before volunteering. It is a short, easy form but will require a copy of your ID to turn in with it.
We will be collecting forms at the Open Houses. Visit the PTO board table and we can help get a copy of your license to turn in with your form.
