Education Requiriments
2-year or 4-year programs in fashion design, although according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, most earn a bachelor's degree. Courses may include footwear design, design software, materials, marketing, industry trends and advanced footwear design
Training Required
· Bachelor’s degree in an industry related field
· Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
· 2 additional years in lieu of a degree
· Proficiency in 3D, concept and polygonal modeling and photo quality rendering
· Demonstrated proficiency using digital Design applications (i.e. Maya, Modo, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
· Experience working in fast-paced production environment
· Proficiency in preparing 3D data for prototyping and experienced in creating conceptual prototypes
Work Expirence Required/ Salary
You need to work a minimum of 5 years and if you do work for 5 years you will get a yearly pay of $100,488
