Parents of current 5th grade students:
Immunizations of meningitis and Tdap are needed for the start of 6th grade. Please call the doctor now to schedule an appointment prior to the start of school so that your student will have the shots that Indiana requires for middle school. When you have an appointment date and time, please let the elementary school nurse know so that it can be recorded. Requirements are grade level-based, and not dependent on age of students entering 6th grade. Call now for the best availability of appointments.

Guess the Gator G.R.E.A.T.S. Trait by Madi Kammer
So, Gators I came up with a game where I write a story and you write me your answer. So here is the story and guess the Gator G.R.E.A.T.S trait.
So, once upon a time two girls wanted to start their business to help people who can’t pay for their houses. They had all of their business planned out, but there was one problem -they didn’t know how to bake. That was a big part of their charity. But that didn’t stop them from baking. So they gathered up all of their friends and parents and made 3,795 cookies and cupcakes. So after selling them they made more than $3,000 and they saved all of those people. They also used of their ------------- to save those people.
When you read the story, write the answer on a piece of paper, put it in Gator Gazette mailbox, and the winner gets a prize. If more than one person gets it right there will be a hat drawing. Remember the Gator Greats traits: Generosity, Respect, Effort, Attitude (positive one), Trustworthiness, and Self Control.

Superbowl 50 by Cooper Mills
Super Bowl 50 was played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara California. It was the Broncos vs. the Panthers. The Broncos beat the Panthers big 24-10. It was more than likely Peyton Manning’s last game. Von Miller was the game MVP because he forced 2 fumbles, one fumble for a touchdown. He also had 3 sacks which contributed to their win. Before the game started they brought out each MVP of the previous Super Bowls. A lot of Football analysts said that the Panthers would win, but the underdog Broncos won.
