Career Description:
An environmental engineer is responsible to research, design, and prevent environmental hazards using various engineering disciplines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with environmental scientists, planners, hazardous waste technicians, engineers, and other specialists, and experts in law and business to address environmental problems.
- Inspect industrial or municipal facilities to ensure their effectiveness and that they comply with environmental regulations
- Inform company employees and others of environmental issues
- Provide technical support for environmental remediation

Qualifications:
- Four-year bachelor's degree
- Several years of work-related experience and on-the-job training
- Educational disciplines: Engineering- Environmental Health Engineering
- Background of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.(STEM)
Salary Wage Potential:
- $38.01 hourly, $79,050 annual
