Notes for the Day
- Show up BEFORE 8:30 so you are ready when the session begins.
- Plan to carpool as parking is limited.
- Remember to set an example by collaborating and not complaining!
- Please participate in the discussion and keep an open mind.
- Plan to attend lunch with your team to debrief. Plan your destination ahead of time.
- Write AT LEAST one idea you gained from your like campus meeting. You will need to catch any teammates up that are involved in TELPAS.

- Social Studies - Where are you pulling your grades from? Are you "double-dipping" by counting assignments in both LA and SS? If so, have parents complained (for grades lower than an A, for example)?
- Guided Reading - How often are you able to pull groups? What does it look like at your campus?
- Resources for advanced students
- Guided Reading
- Enrichment
- Science enrichment
- 4th Grade Writing STAAR
- STAAR writing and reading
- Language Arts blended with Social Studies & Writing STAAR

- Do you have a high math class? What do you do with higher level students such as station work/projects?
- Resources for fractions that you find most effective?
- Departmentalization- what does that look like? Do you think it is the most beneficial?
- Teaching SS and Language Arts how does the individual block/week look like?
- For social studies are you taking the history tests using the questions on the planner or are you assessing through other means?
- Are you following the sequence for grammar that is more linear or are you following McGraw-Hill/Write Source?
- What types of vocabulary are you doing with students?
- What types of technology are you using with students? How is it being used?
- What does your Guided Reading groups and I.E. groups look like in the classroom?
- How you incorporate and apply your I/E time
- Scheduling-how does everyone fit everything into the day and feel like they accomplished what they wanted to in curriculum?
- Intervention/Enrichment time - How do you do it?
- How do you get Social Studies grades?
