Welcome from the UGA Career Center
Career Updates for International Students
About the Career Center
Welcome (or welcome back) to UGA! My name is Samantha Perrin and I work as a Career Consultant in the UGA Career Center. I work specifically with students majoring in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, and Aritificial Intelligence.
In addition to your major Career Consultant, I also serve specifically as a liaison to international students. I am available to help you with any of your career-related questions as they pertain to your visa status and potential career options, whether in the U.S. or abroad.
To Meet With a career consultant
The Career Center offers walk-in hours every day of the week from 12-2. While I personally work walk-in hours on Tuesday, feel free to stop by any day to meet with a consultant. Walk-in hours are intended to be quick, 10-15 minute meetings to talk about any career related topics. No appointment necessary! Walk-in hours will resume August 14.
The Career Center is located on the 2nd floor of Clark Howell Hall, located next to the Tate Student Center.

Arch Ready Program
What is arch ready?
1. Attend 5 or more eligible events each semester.
2. Check-in at each event on an iPad at the front of the room. Check-out of each event by completing a red Arch Ready card.
3. Complete a brief survey after each workshop. Surveys will be sent following the workshop and are open for 1 week.
4. After attending 5 or more events, complete the final Arch Ready survey found here: http://career.uga.edu/archready.
Please Note: You must keep track of your own attendance. Career Center staff will only verify attendance at the end of the semester.
