Principal's Message
Dear SFX Family,
Thank you to all who were able to complete the survey regarding time recovery from Hurricane Ida. We appreciate your input! We are reviewing the results and awaiting some clarification before making the final decision, though it will be made this week.
We are starting a new tradition this school year to bring together the parish and school even more. One Sunday a month, a grade level will sponsor the 10:00 AM Mass on Sunday and serve in all the ministries. We ask that the students wear their school uniforms to the Mass. While this is not mandatory, we strongly encourage all to participate. The Grade Level Masses will be as follows; please mark your calendars!
October 3 - 7th Grade
October 17 - 6th Grade
November 7 - 5th Grade
December 5 - 4th Grade
January 9 - 3rd Grade
February 6 - 2nd Grade
March 13 - 1st Grade
April 3 - Kindergarten
May 1 - Pre-K Classes
I also want to update you on our Booster Fun Run that usually takes place in September. Due to Hurricane Ida, we have decided to postpone the run until March. More information will be sent home later in the year!
Thank you in advance to all those who are able to donate to our drive with Catholic Charities this week. Please be sure to note all the important items included in this week's newsletter.
Have a great rest of the week!
May God bless you and keep you,
Jessica
