Graduation rehearsal is mandatory.
Class Night begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31. Seniors must arrive by 6:30 p.m. to the gym.
Sunday, June 3 is Graduation Day. Seniors must report by noon to the gym. If you have questions regarding the venue for graduation (indoor vs outdoor), timely announcements will be made via the high school's Facebook and Twitter accounts: @josephcasehs.
Prom preceded by 'Prom'-menade
We will be decorating the auditorium as a beautiful venue for parents and families to take pre-prom pictures in an arena especially designed for pre-Prom magic.
All prom guests must park or be dropped off in the rear of the building and use the "boys gym" entrance that leads to the shop hallway. Phase 1 of the check-in process will begin at the end of the hallway. Prom guests will fill out an announcement card of their names and proceed to the stage door. After guests turn in their cards, they will be announced onstage, Prom guest will promenade downstage and proceed to the stage right staircase and exit the rear of auditorium for Phase 2 of the prom check-in process.
Parents may park in the teacher's lot and use the music door for access to the auditorium. This will be the only entrance way available to Case families so our established safety protocols are not compromised.
Phase 2 will check bags and belongings as well as breathalyze all student guests.
The 'Prom"-menade begins at 4:30 p.m. Students self-selected buses with specific departure times of 5 p.m., 5:10 p.m., and 5:20 p.m.
We hope this evolves into a tradition at Joseph Case High School. I am grateful for Chris Costa, Melissa Crosson and Neil Jeronimo for their help and input in designing this event.
New in 2018: Senior Stroll
Seniors will sign up next Thursday, May 24. Each student will choose to visit Gardner/Brown or Hoyle/Luther as their destination after the junior high school.
We will encourage all seniors to wear representative Case High apparel / maroon and gold to inspire students in the lower grades. The event should conclude with a return to the high school by 12:30 p.m.
I hope that seniors will take advantage of this pilot opportunity to celebrate and give thanks to those who may have helped them along the way in Swansea Public schools.

Annual Town Meeting
And finally: the joy of Case Music
Many thanks to Amy Hubbard for leading the students this evening.
The event's highlight came early in the evening with our ARCH students performing in a bell ensemble they have been working hard at over the course of the year. It was truly a beautiful moment in connectivity and inclusivity for Joseph Case High School, and a perfect complement to our second year in Unified Sports.
