Week At-a-Glance
March 16-20, 2020
Good evening families! Unfortunately, we will be out of school starting Monday. In addition to school being out, most, if not all, recreational sports and activities have been cancelled as well. With that being said we will being "virtual learning" on Monday. we will be posting an announcement on Verge everyday with the homework and daily assignment. The homework will be due on Friday of that week and your daily assignment must be completed the day it is assigned.
Mr. Murphy has set up a class on Khan Academy. They must go to Khan academy through their CLEVER account. He has walked the kids through this on Thursday and he had them join his class. For those students who were absent on Thursday, he set it up for them. Please reach out to him if you are having trouble. Khan academy is listed first on my class page on CLEVER. Please make sure your child watches the videos for the assignment. It is important that they understand how to solve before they do they complete the assignment. The only "NEW" concepts that he has not taught will be in geometry and measurement.
This is a tough time right now for us all. The health and well-being of everyone is what is important right now. We have spent the weekend setting up our home offices. We will get through this better as a team. Please keep let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
We look forward to our return to school. If there is anything we can do to help with the kids while we are out, please let us know. Here is the work your students will see on Verge.
