OUTSTANDING LETTER SENT TO PRINCIPAL LAM AND SUPERINTENDENT WALTERS
Sent By Mr. Hansen - Gave Permission to Make This Public
Kelly and Jeff,
As a retired High School Administrator, I had the opportunity to watch the Hartford Girls Basketball Team and student section up close at last Saturdayβs game in Manitowoc. As the PA announcer for the High School, I see many communities visit the fieldhouse every year. Please know the behavior of your student section was outstanding, not always the case with High School students, but these βOrioles" represented your community very well. But perhaps what most impressive aspect of the day was the team. Coach Danielsβ young ladies demonstrated not only the necessary skills to win, but the personal interaction skills necessary to be successful in life. Court behavior, interactions with game officials and scoring table personnel demonstrated behaviors I do not always see at High School games. I do not know how the weekend will go at the State Tourney, but your team and students have already won something other students do not always achieveβ¦.Respect and a bright future.
You are doing something right at Hartford Union. Keep it up.
Biff Hansen
Ret. AP Manitowoc
