Leonardo-'Er Lello'
Leonardo is 17 year old boy who lives in Italy with his parents and younger sister. Currently Leonardo attends a scientific high school and has very specific plans for the future: after high school he plans to attend a university in Netherland, start work and then get married around 25/26 then start a family. Leonardo likes to do many things, "the most important and amusement of these is scuba diving." He loves to see all of the wonderful things the sea has to offer. He also enjoys playing football, basketball and WWE wrestling. When he is not busy with sports, Leonardo loves music--"I play the guitar both electric and classical, but also bass guitar and ukulele." His favorite types of music are Rock, Blues, Jazz and Soul. There are many things that Leonardo enjoys, however he is very allergic to animals--so it's best he lives in a home without pets. Leonardo would like to share with you his culture and customs and learn about your life "in such a way that will be more bond between us." He is ready to learn another language and make friends with future classmates too. "Thank you for the opportunity you have given me and I hope that our relationship will be wonderful."
Lisa
Lisa is an open-minded 16 year from Italy, who has many interests and is curious to know and understand the world around her. "I'm friendly and so easy to talk to." She lives in a home outside the city with her parents and younger brother, "they are warm hearted people." Lisa attends school 6 days a week, but she has many interests outside of school. Lisa has been synchronized swimming for eight years and competes in many competitions. "It is a very important part of my life because I enjoy it a lot and I met my best friends there." When on dry land, Lisa enjoys going to the cinema and also likes to act in the theatre too. She hopes in the future she does something connected to the theatre or cinema. Lisa adores traveling and spent last summer with a host family in Great Britain. "The amazing landscapes I saw there will remain in my mind forever." Lisa chose to become an exchange student because she has always desired to know the US better, "the best way to do it is living there." She is so enthusiastic to know new people, places and environments. "I'm so happy to begin this experience that I'm sure will change my life and will make me grow up from many different points of view."
Brunello
Bruno is a 16 year old who was born in Northern Italy--on his mother's birthday. They both share the zodiac sign, Aries--which as Bruno says, "I always head down to the goal!" He is determined to become an exchange student and a 'citizen of the world.' Bruno lives in an apartment in Italy with his parents and brother, whom he shares a room with. He attends school and a few days a week he plays golf, it is Bruno's "GREAT PASSION!" Bruno has been playing golf since he was 7 years old and is now an amateur player, "my handicap is 14 (and in Italy is starts from 36). His greatest dream is to be able to play golf during his stay in America. Bruno's other hobby is playing the piano, it helps him relax after studying. Bruno is ready to cook real Italian pizza for you! He is also ready to try local dishes, "it's a good way to get to know people!" Bruno is already packing his suitcase and cannot wait to tell you more, but he wants to tell you personally. "Do you want to host a young Italian boy with high hopes and great will? I hope so strongly!"
