Health Risks
- Mother may become anemic
- More likely to develop preeclampsia, a severe condition associated with high blood pressure.
- Pelvic bone hasn't fully developed yet so there is a big trouble when trying to have a vaginal birth.
- Poor eating habits that can harm the baby.
Educational Choices
- Mother may fall behind and even drop out of school.
- Can't get a job later on because you don't have a high enough education level.
- If the mother does try to go back to school, the baby may be too much of a stress on her to handle both.
Financial Problems
- Not enough money to support the baby.
- Child might not get feed or clothes because of low income.
- Parents might go broke from helping out the child so much.
Emotional/Social Stress
- May lose a lot of your friends due to having a baby.
- Any type of stress may cause you to lose weight.
- Getting caught up in your own stress may cause you to neglect the baby.
