Principal's Message
Highlights
Dear OSS Parents and Students,
Goodbye April...Welcome May!
I want to thank the input we received regarding parent meetings at the Coffee With the Principal. Yes, progress reports are here and are available through Infinite Campus. Kudos to all who are doing well--keep working hard. I want to encourage those who are struggling or whose grades are not where they want them to be--keep at it and persist. We have 5 weeks to go...
Last Friday, I attended my first OSS Prom. It was a small but happy event which saw students and staff eat together, take fun pictures, and show off some dance moves. Students made it a great experience! See below for the pictures and a short write-up.
This Thursday is our PBL Exhibition and AP Information Night. You are all cordially invited to view the projects your child/children completed to show how they applied their learning. Dinner will be served--family style. This is another opportunity for families to have discussions around learning.
We learn, we show how we learn, and we have fun! It is SPIRIT WEEK, WOLVES! See below...the highlight will be a Food Fair this Friday to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. Let us have a wonderful week!
GO WOLVES!
Sincerely,
Ms. Mary Rose Peralta

Prom 2024
Mardi Gras Theme Graces Prom Night 2024
Prom 2024 is in the books! Held at the Chula Vista Gold Club in Bonita, Prom was a fun night of eating, dancing, and socializing. What an awesome job Mr. Abram Pelayo, the ASB, and staff did to ensure a festive affair. Many thanks to Ms. Leslie Warren and Ms. Jennifer Chranowski (and her husband) who helped with the set-up. Many, many thanks to Ms. Mari Acosta for taking all official pictures of the night. Many thanks to staff who helped with supervision and clean-up.
