The Knight Way
Parent and Community Edition
Building Relationships
This year one of our main focus as a school has been building relationships and classroom communities. In previous newsletters we have shared about morning meetings and given a quick glimpse of morning meetings occuring in our school. The video below shares a brief overview of the responsive classroom. We encourage you to ask your child about morning meetings. Through these conversations you may hear about greetings, share time, and morning messages.

Morning Meetings
Students and teachers are shown sharing during morning meeting time and making connections to previous learning experiences.
Knight Doing it Right
We continue to recognize students weekly who have shown they are following our school expectations. Students receive a note from a staff member and the group picture is placed on Mr. Moree's door. This is always a great way to end the week!
Classroom Recognition
Our classes continue to recognize students during the day for positive behavior. Many of our classes also work on whole class recognition and students work together as a class community towards their classes chosen goal.
Staff Recogntion
If you've been in our building you may have noticed our staff glow board. This board is used by staff members to recognize each other for the amazing things they do.
