Stone Bridge High School Public Safety Exercise April 5
To the Stone Bridge Community -
On Friday, April 5, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) and Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System (LC-CFRS) will conduct a training exercise at both the Newton-Lee Elementary School campus and the Stone Bridge High School campus. The training event will take place in the morning and will include several emergency response vehicles and personnel on and around our campus.
The parking lots at Stone Bridge High School will serve as a staging and briefing area for the training exercise early in the morning. Individuals involved in the training exercise will utilize the parking lots as well as designated areas inside the school building throughout the morning. You may notice emergency personnel and law enforcement in our building and parking lots, with the training anticipated to conclude by noon.
Since April 5 is a teacher workday, staff will direct anyone needing access to the building to alternative entrances as needed. Outside and inside activities will continue as planned, though we ask that those who do not need to be on campus remain clear of the area. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
I wanted you to be aware of the training event as it will include an active law enforcement presence around our school community until noon on Friday, April 5. All scheduled activities will take place as scheduled that day.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at Timothy.Flynn@lcps.org.
Sincerely,
Tim Flynn
Principal

Counseling
Bulldogs!
As we approach spring break, we would like to remind you to please review your course requests for the upcoming school year. Please note that the deadline for making changes to your course requests is May 1st.
If you find that adjustments to your schedule are necessary, please visit the school counseling office to pick up a course change form. This form will guide you through the process of modifying your course selections for next year.
Additionally, if you haven’t already done so, it’s crucial to schedule a meeting with your school counselor to discuss your schedule for the upcoming year. Your school counselor is here to support you in creating a balanced course load that aligns with your academic goals.
For a more comprehensive overview of available courses and detailed information, we encourage you to visit our School Counseling Academic Page. This resource will provide you with valuable insights into the curriculum, prerequisites, and other relevant details.
We hope you have a restful spring break!
