Mission Statement
The Eucharistic community of Saint Paschal Baylon Catholic School
focuses on Christ-centered values and develops the unique potential of each student
through a rigorous and engaging curriculum.
End of the School Year Prayer
O God of all beginnings and endings,
We praise and thank you for the gift of this school year.
It has been a time filled with grace and blessings,
With challenges and opportunities, joys and sorrows.
Watch over us in the weeks of rest ahead,
And guide each day as you have done this past year.
Help us return to school with a new spirit and a new energy.
May we continue to grow in age, wisdom, knowledge, and grace
All the days of our lives.
Wishing all of our students and families a safe and relaxing summer! We will miss you, but we look forward to seeing you soon!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SPB CLASS OF 2020!
PASS IT ON CEREMONY AND PROMOTION BLESSING
THANK YOU!!
As we went forward in faith, hope, and love this school year, there are many people and groups of people who deserve an enthusiastic thank you for helping us along our journey. In no particular order, I want to thank:
- You, our parents, who sacrifice to send your children to Saint Paschal Baylon Catholic School and who share our good news with others. We know that this last quarter you took on even more as you helped your children with distance learning. Thank you for the many hats you wore this year!
- The PTO for your financial assistance with so many of our school programs, including our 1:1 Chromebook program, the X-STREAM Games, various student competitions, and so much more. The PTO also funded the SPB signs that were delivered a few weeks ago. Thank you isn’t nearly enough!
- The Blessed Sacrament Ladies Guild for purchasing Bibles for our fifth graders, funding the Honor and Harmony and Connections programs, and supporting the Journey with Jesus Program. We couldn’t have had these without your help.
- Our many moms, dads, and grandparents who answered the call to volunteer either in our classrooms, library, or lunchroom. You are priceless!
- The playground moms, dads, and grandparents who showed up each week to watch over our kids even when the weather wasn't ideal. Thank you!
- Mr. Ken DiSanto, owner of Hillcrest Jewelers, who inscribes all of our school plaques and donates his time to do so.
- Our students, faculty, and staff who moved "Forward in Faith, Hope, and Love" each and every day this school year. You persisted and showed true grit in some challenging times. Thank you for building the community we have here!

Prevent the Summer Slide with Exact Path
Prevent the summer slide with Exact Path from Edmentum! This program will continue to build your child’s skills in mathematics, reading, and language arts – all summer long! With our school's subscription, students can continue to work on their individual learning paths over the course of the summer. Students can simply use the same login information they have been using this past school year. Let's continue the learning and prevent the summer slide!
Summer Learning Opportunity that Integrates Religion and Science
The Saint Kateri Conservation Center offers their habitat ministry to inspire Catholics and others to restore yards, gardens, schools, farms, parks, forests, rivers, and wetlands into healthy habitats for people and wildlife.
Our habitat ministry encourages individuals, parishes, schools, religious orders, and working landowners to restore their homes in a way that praises God and fosters a greater connection between people and nature.
With a focus on God and the Catholic faith, the Saint Kateri Habitat Program provides living, sacred spaces for people to engage directly in the care of God’s creation at home and in their communities. By restoring habitats with reverence for our Creator, the program draws people closer to God and his Church while protecting the integrity of creation.
Anyone can transform their buildings and land into healthy habitats. It can be as simple as planting a tree or growing wildflowers for bees and butterflies. Click here for more information.
Camp Invention/Camp Connect
Camp Invention is returning to St Paschal Baylon School!
In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF), St Paschal Baylon School is pleased to offer Camp Invention Connect™ — the all-new, at-home version of the nationally acclaimed Camp Invention® program! Camp Invention Connect™ reinvents distance learning for children entering grades 1st through 6th with an exciting, weeklong summer adventure exploring science, technology, engineering and innovation. Four activity kits packed full of materials are sent directly to each participant, so they can go outside, get active and stretch their imaginations with engaging hands-on activities. The week begins on July 6, 2020 with Moira Popelka serving as Lead Coach to offer the all-new 2020 curriculum, Elevate!
During this program, young innovators will:
Explore the principles of flight, pilot paper airplanes and hand-copters, and experiment with two flight simulation robots — one to take apart and investigate, and one to personalize!
Learn the value of their creativity and bring their biggest ideas to life as they sketch and build prototypes, design logos, market their invention and protect their intellectual property.
Go outdoors to take on environmental challenges, exploring bioluminescence by creating glowing LED flowers and building parachutes to safely airdrop animals in their habitats.
Discover the great inventors behind their favorite sports and apply their own game-changing ingenuity to build the ultimate sports complex, and then head outside to play their new games.
Camp Invention Connect is dynamic, flexible program. It can be screen-free and self-led, or it can be enhanced through online collaboration sessions with Coaches and fellow campers.
While screen time and the need for parental involvement are kept to a minimum, inspiration, exploration and creativity are unlimited!
Register using promo code SUM15 to save $15 (expires 6/30) off the $175 registration fee. Visit invent.org/connect or call 800-968-4332 to secure your child’s spot today! Please click here for further information.

St. Paschal Baylon Knights Athletics – Fall Sports
We hope everyone is doing the best they can in this new environment. For St. Paschal Baylon sports, we are preparing for a fall season to take place. However, we are in a lot of unknown. We prefer to not charge for registration at this point, as we understand the impact of COVID-19 is different across families. Currently, we are asking for a level of interest for all fall sports in the form of pre-registration. Once we get better details from our governor, and CYO we can open up for formal registration, and collect fees.
As you know, a lot of work goes into prepping for the fall season. We would like to know the level of interest for your child(ren) in fall sports by filling out the form here: https://forms.gle/CVnLKnLatQPxCArt7
You will need to fill out the form for each child independently.
