Leaders Leading Learners

Merry Christmas!
THE NIGHT BEFORE LESSON PLANS WERE DUE
It was the Night Before Lessons Plans were due…
Nearly all classes were highly engaged, and every teacher knew…
Lessons were designed
with the learner in mind,
reviewed, aligned
and were authentically engaging and uploaded in forethought with care….
In hopes that deep understanding and learning would be present in every classroom.
Knowing that assessment is important but learning is critical….
The children were eager to learn,
As beliefs shape visions, and visions drive missions….
As disciplined conversations helped to move a school from words to action…
Instructional Coaches ensured that school work was tailored made and designed to ensure that work provided was engaging…and that each child would learn that it takes grit to succeed…
Teacher were inventors, leaders and designers..
When out on in the conference room there arose much clatter,
As teachers ask, tell me more about this matter,
When, teachers ask parents what does your children do well,
They were sure to tell,
What was their interest that helped to gain insight?
When we awoke in the middle of the night,
All educators knew that they had done well,
Since all of our children could tell,
Their teacher what way they learn best,
And with meaningful affirmations they could pass life's test,
They had fun, developed a passion for learning and a heart of giving…
As all the teachers called: Now, Pattern of Engagement, Now! Student Achievement, Now! Content & Substance, Now! Organization of Knowledge, On! Product Focus, Clear & Compelling Product, On! Safe Environment, Affirmation of Performances, Affiliation, Novelty & Variety, Choice and Authenticity!
They shouted to the top everyone to the top!
In high performing schools everyone is clear that engagement precedes learning!
Now Go and make your way, Go and make your way! You my child, know how to learn…because We have given You the tools that You need to be successful in Life!……MERRY CHRISTMAS!
