Madison Education Fund - Volunteers Needed
MEF funded $55,000 in grants last fall, including several assemblies, field trips, and overnight adventures that are giving Madison students learning experiences that stretch far beyond their classrooms. Check out the Madison Eagle article on our Fall Grant Cycle here: https://www.newjerseyhills.com/madison_eagle/news/madison-education-foundation-funds-55k-in-new-enrichment-grants-to-support-local-schools/article_4368cf54-8d31-11ed-acbe-1bfae848aa08.html
If you think this is awesome and want to be a part of the fundraising events and campaigns that make these grants possible, join us at the MEF Volunteer Recruitment Happy Hour on January 26th. We'll match you up with the perfect volunteer job. We can't wait to meet you! Learn more at www.mefnj.org.
Food Drive through February 10
After the holiday season, many food pantries find their shelves empty. Don’t let the giving season come to an end. Brownie Troop 7942 wants your help to bring in non-perishable goods (canned food, cereal, rice, coffee, ketchup, etc.) for the Interfaith Food Pantry in Morristown. Drop off boxes are located at CAS and at 37 Anthony Drive. See below flyer for more.
COURTYARD READING GARDEN
Did you know that CAS has a courtyard? Unfortunately, during the COVID shutdown, our beautiful courtyard reading garden fell into disrepair. This year, the PTO will be working with the building to revitalize and rebuild this outdoor learning space for our children to enjoy. We have received landscaping quotes and soon we will be able to announce the grand plan and fundraising goals! More to Come!
