Emeril Lagasse
Emeril Lagasse, born October 15,1959 in Fall River Ma, mastered bread and pastry at a young age, then moved on to master French cuisine. He was raised by his French-Canadian father, Emeril Jr. , and his Portuguese mother , Hilda. His first job was working at a local Portuguese bakery. He also had a full scholarship to the New England Conservatory of Music, but turned it down to pursue his career in being a professional chef. He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University. One of Emeril’s most liked recipes is Barbecue Shrimp with petite rosemary biscuits. Today Emeril can be seen weekly as food correspondent for ABC’s Good Morning America.
