MLK Celebrations Were Fantastic!
Good afternoon PR Families,
Please ask your Ranger(s) about our silent protest march on the way to the assembly! It was amazing to see 500 kids come in and wait quietly as each class was seated! Our silent protest was against anyone being treated unfairly because of skin color, language, or ability. We silently marched because at our house we believe that all people should be treated fairly! Just as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. did. We also watched a video called: Our House.
- Teachers had a full day of learning about writing in a balanced literacy model yesterday at the Fine Arts Center. It was time well spent with our K-6 teachers of writing. This included our Resource Room teachers.
Have a great week!

PR Loves Free Money!
The “Direct Your Dollars” project is well underway and we are making a significant stride and earning $1000 for simply turning in receipts! Do you have a Forest Hills Foods, D&W, Family Fare, etc receipt that has this image on it? We would love that receipt as we tally up the totals on our way to receiving a check for $1000! It’s quite literally that easy… Send in your receipt to the front office and we take care of the rest. Who doesn’t love free money?! Help out Pine Ridge today by sending any receipts!
