Computer Lab News
We have completed the first week of the Digital Citizenship lessons. Please contact James if your class still needs the training so he can schedule a time in the lab or you can schedule a time for him to come to your classroom.
Want to learn about what you want to learn about TEACHING? Well, many teachers do too and they are getting together at EdcampATX. EdcampATX will be held on Nov 5th at Pillow Elementary. You can sign up at http://www.edcampatx.org/ Edcamp is free, participant driven, professional development. Teachers will gather and brainstorm what they want to learn about in the morning. They will take all the ideas and identify the top 4 or 5 they will focus on that day. Everyone goes to the group they want to work on and people who know about that topic lead the group while everyone else shares ideas.
We are working on an alternate Doss Owl Bookmarks webpage for younger students and English language learners. It uses icons instead of words to help the kids identify webpages. Please let James know what you like and how it can be improved. https://www.symbaloo.com/mix/doss2016-171
