What years were you in middle school?
Her middle school years were:1981-1983. She attended San Pablo de Padua ( a school in Dominican Republic)
What kinds of music, movies, and fashions were popular at the time?
Music: Country music and, where she lived, Spanish music called "bachata"
Movies: Comedy movies that were black and white.
Fashions: Where she lived, socks and sandals and big hair were VERY popular.

What were your favorite activities in middle school? What were your hobbies and interests?
She loved to run in middle school. As a hobbie, she loved to read and go bike riding with her dad.
What job/interest/activities do you have now? Is there a connection between what you like back then and what you enjoy today?
Now, she works in the medical field. The connection is she liked to help people back then and she still does.
What was the best part about being in middle school?
Her teachers were very nice and she had so many friends in middle school. She also got many awards.
What was the worst part?
She didn't like getting up in the morning to go to school.
How would you describe your middle school self?
She was nice, cool, funny, kind, and fun to be around.
What advice about growing up would you give kids my age?
She said it was best NOT to do drugs before/after school because you can get caught and it will affect your health in the future.
What was your favorite subject?
She loved math and science.
How would you describe how your middle school looked like?
She claimed that it looked very old, but on the inside it was very pretty and clean!
