effects of the document- most of the documents causes talked about mid evil rights but is a symbol of liberty. The most famous part of the magna carta is the law that is still used today is a free mans right to justice and a free trial so not anyone could be thrown in jail over nothing. But at that time many men were presents and under control of their owners. the Pope denied until King John died then by the next King Henry III he reissued until it was finally part of English law.
Impact of Document on the US- Magna Carta is a bases off of Human Rights laws and Declaration of Independence and is a symbol of liberty still today.

Historical Context-it has a set of laws they based on a orderly government according to god. They want to limit the power of the chief person and there would be other people will have to watch him and they choose the people that run the colony and they have a court that runs the laws so basically kept the different powers of government separate.
