Stageworx General Information
LUNCH
We will build in time for lunch daily. Please send a lunch and drink with your camper every day. We do have a severe peanut allergy in our camp, so if you could refrain from sending peanut products it would be greatly appreciated.
DROP OFF AND PICK UP
We want pick up and drop off to run as smoothly as possible! You can drop off your camper beginning at 8:50 am on the backside of Colonial (the East side of the building). Staffers will be waiting to greet your camper. You can pick up your child at 2 pm in the same driveway. If you have campers in Company or Troupe, you will pick up and drop off all of your children in the front of the building. (Amy will be doing warm ups with the kids starting at 8:50...they won't want to miss it!)
CAMPER INFORMATION
Please make sure that you have filled out a camper information form for each child you are sending to camp. Access that document here:

ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
We still have a few spots open in Troupe, Company, and Studio camps, and we'd love for your child's friends to join us for an amazing summer! Please share the StageworX experience with anyone you think might be interested. If they enroll, you'll be entered to win an iPad mini! Just use this form to let us know you referred them:

Meet Our Staff
Amy Alderman – Amy (Arnott) Alderman is so happy to be returning as the choreographer for Studio Musical Theatre, for her 4th year at StageworX! She grew up dancing and performing at Miller Marley Studios of Dance and Voice. She has been performing around the Kansas City area since the age 10 in venue’s such as The Theatre in the Park, The White Theatre, and with MTKC. After graduating college she decided to pursue her dream of performing professionally. She moved down to Florida and began working as a Puppeteer. Soon after you could see her performing at Universal Studio’s Orlando, she helped open the “Elmo and the Bookaneer’s” show at Sea World, and was an Equity performer at Walt Disney World’s Epcot. She was back in Kansas for 7 months- just in time to meet her husband- before she up and moved to New York City! While in New York she went to several auditions and landed a few Runway Shows before she realized that she missed Kansas and her family! Since returning home in 2010, she has taken up the family tradition of choreographing! She choreographed her first show in February of 2011 and has yet to slow down with Footloose being her 20th show to choreograph! StageworX is what Amy looks forward to each year! Hanging out with some of her best friends, working on musicals, and teaching middle school aged kids how to perform! Who could ask for anything more?
Jon Copeland – When not at camp, Jon teaches drama at Mill Valley High school in Shawnee. He has worked as an actor, choreographer and/or music director at many theaters including Martin City Melodrama, the American Heartland Theater, the Coterie, TYA, TTIP and World’s of Fun. In his free time he enjoys watching old movies with his lovely wife Heidi and their adorable cat family.
David Davis – David is so proud to be on the Stageworx staff for his 12th summer! David earned his BME from KSU in 2006 and his ME from MNU in 2011. This school year will mark his ninth year wrangling all things choir and theater at Harmony Middle School in Blue Valley. David is a 2008 Kansas State Horizon Award winner and in 2014 was a semi-finalist for the prestigious GRAMMY Foundation music teacher of the year award. David has performed and directed in many capacities including musicals, barbershop choruses, choirs, and the worship team at his church. Outside of work he has a recurring role as the father of two adorable twin girls, Piper and Lylah, in a show brilliantly directed by his wife Lindsay.
Kym Gibbs –Kym has been a professional accompanist for almost 30 years, accompanying shows all over the metro area, including one summer away at Interlochen. Her main gig, though, for the last 16 years and counting are spent accompanying at Spring Hill High School. When not sightreading somewhere, Kym and her husband Jerry enjoy a lot of time watching their daughter, Tyler, play softball and playing with their two Shibas Whiskey and Naya.
Sarah Peterson – Sarah has enjoyed spending summers at camp since 2006! She is the assistant director of the Miller Marley Entertainers and has worked as a choreographer, assistant director, and/or performer at Rockhurst High School, Mill Valley High School, Spring Hill High School, Olathe East High School, Mill Creek Middle School, Harmony Middle School, Christian Youth Theater, Blue Valley Youth Players, Blue Valley Rec, Shawnee Mission Theater in the Park, and The Lewis and Shirley White Theater. After spending eight years as the CEO of the Peterson Family, she is heading back to the classroom as a middle school speech and drama teacher at Harmony Middle School! When Sarah is not dancing, you will find her with her husband cheering for their three kids at a baseball game, a dance recital, or whatever “show” they are putting on at home!
