3-6 Field Trip!
Third and fourth graders joined the fifth and sixth grade class on a field trip to the American Precision Museum yesterday. This trip was part of our unit on the Industrial Revolution. Highlights included creating our own catapults, exploring the amazing machinery in the museum, and learning about the enormous water wheel that was used to power the Robbins and Lawrence interchangeable parts factory before electricity was discovered. When we got back to school, students wrote a reflection piece on the pros and cons of the industrial revolution.
Ask your student to share their ideas with you!
