Last of the Rainbow Words
On Monday, the last of our Rainbow Words came home: pink! All students should now have all flashcards (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink). If your child has not passed a specific color, do not stress about moving on. For example, if your child has not mastered the "red" words, please don't stress about learning the new "pink" words. However, please remember to continue to study the words your child has mastered already. Many students are on "green" or "blue" words, but when I test them on "red" or "orange" words, they have lost quite a few of them. Thanks for continuing to work with your children at home. Together, our class has made amazing gains in reading this year. I am so proud of all of them!
