April 12th is the National Day of Silence, which is a student-led movement to protest bullying and harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender nonconforming, and questioning students and those who support them. Here is a message from President Biden.
To support LGBTQIA+ students on campus, please wear rainbow colors, pins, and hats on April 12th. You can also show your support by staying silent that day or not staying silent and speaking out in support of your fellow students.

Chelsey Chan- 6ht Grade
Chelsey was nominated because she never fails to make anyone smile. She is smart , helpful to anyone and everyone, and is very athletic. Chelsey s a great friend and an amazing person overall.

Xavier Lee
Xavier had been nominated because he is kind to everyone and can make anyone laugh. He is helpful to his friends and peers and is always giving a helpful hand to someone. He is also very understanding of people, and can always tell when someone is down. Great job Xavier!
Lina Huynh- 8th Grade
Lina is funny, energetic, and very loud. She never judges anyone and is kind to everyone she sees. Just by giving people a smile she brightens their day. Awesome job Lina!

Harry Potter Club
Hey Lewis students!
Do you love Harry Potter books and movies? Then you should join the Harry Potter Club! We meet on Tuesdays during 7th/8th grade lunch in room 218.

Jewish Club!
Every Tuesday, we have our next Jewish Club meeting during 7/8th grade lunch in room 211. Everyone is welcome!
Rainbow Club
Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday there is Rainbow Club/GSA/SafePlace in room 211. This is a place to have lunch for students who are LGBTQIA+ along with friends and allies. Everyone is welcome!
Higher Ground
Hi students and parents! Higher Ground Club is a space every Tuesday at lunch for students to come meet new friends, play games, eat pizza, and grow as students of character. We are a club facilitated by students, and directed by adults. We're really excited about this school year, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out at any time.
