What is ISIS?
ISIS is a group of religious extremist's who are infamous for their cruel punishments and use of social media to get to the masses. ISIS has overthrown the local government and established themselves as the leader's of large portions of Iraq and Syria. As of September 30, 2015 ISIS has taken control of most of Syria ISIS has also started moving towards Iraq.
What is ISIS doing?
Aside from overthrowing the government ISIS is inflicting cruel and inhumane punishment upon those who do not believe in Islamic religion. ISIS has become notorious for uploading beheadings of people on the internet. ISIS uses cruel methods to spread their messages.
ISIS seeks to create a state of purely Islamic religion separate from the rest of the world. To accomplish this ISIS kills people of all races to sever any ties with any other nations.
What can we do?
America sends troops to help with the effort against ISIS with the main goal being to eliminate this group of horrible people. America is reaching out to other nations asking for help in accomplishing the same goal. The biggest way America has helped is by coordinating airstrikes and targeting ISIS strong points. Other nations have been a huge help in housing immigrants afflicted by the civil war. Other nations taking arms in the fight against ISIS would be a huge step in the right direction.
