SPECIALS UPDATES
Grace Christmas Cottage
We are continuing our tradition of our O. C. Taylor Holiday Tree with just a few small changes. We will have our Tiger Tree with paws on the tree. Families are invited to choose a paw on the tree with a specific item listed on the paw, purchase the item on the paw, and then return the item to school which will then be donated to the GRACE Christmas Cottage.
GRACE sets up a store for parents who qualify to come and choose toys and items for their children in need. They are given the items, wrapping paper and cookies. O. C. Taylor TTT is partnering with GRACE to assist in this project for Grapevine.
Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange (GRACE) is a Grapevine, Texas-based non-profit relief agency which provides food, clothing, financial assistance and other vital necessities to people who are struggling with a limited income or recent emergency. The philosophy of GRACE is that encouraging self-sufficiency will, in turn, encourage community cohesiveness. Compassion and assistance are offered as a response to God's grace by local churches in partnership with municipalities, businesses, civic organizations and individuals.

Technology Tips: Webville Outlaws
LOOK-AT-DIS LOISE was the first week. POTTY-MOUTH PETE was last week's web outlaw.
This week we are talking about WANTA-KNOW WALLY is a snoop. He wants to get your private information such as last name, address, phone number, credit card, and more. Always tell an adult if you are asked for private information when you are on the internet. It’s important to always tell a TRUSTED ADULT if you run into a Wanta-Know Wally, and it’s never okay to tell private information!
NetSmartz Kids has excellent information for students – videos, games, and more. The site is developed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and has age-appropriate resources to help keep children safe online as well as off-line.
