Principal's Paragraphs - Supplies Pick Up and Drop Off Plan
Dear Belair Bulldogs,
We have a plan for supply distribution and collection of library books/library bags, and orchestra instruments for 5th grade students not continuing with orchestra.
Please read carefully the following information.
When picking up materials, all family members must be symptom free to attend pick up/drop off. This includes no fever, cough, shortness of breath, or recent contact with someone who has Coronavirus.
Pick up/drop off of materials will be on the following dates and times. Tuesday, May 19 through Thursday, May 21, from 11:00-1:00 and 4:00-6:00 each day.
Use the Sign Up Genius Link below to sign up for your preferred date/time.
On your date and time, please come to the Belair Playground and line up like car rider drop off/pick up. We ask that all parents and students remain in their vehicle during the collection and distribution of materials. All student materials will be bagged up and ready for families. One staff member will come to your car to collect the library books and call for your child(ren)'s supplies. Another staff member will bring your child(ren)'s supplies to your car.
Families who purchased yearbooks will be able to pick their yearbook up at the same time. Just tell the staff member helping that you also need to pick up your yearbook.
We are limiting the number of families who can attend each hour of pick up to 35. You may experience some waiting to receive your materials.
Please have your library books, library book bags (for kindergarten and 1st grade students), and orchestra instruments (5th grade students who are not continuing with orchestra) ready for pick up.
Any family who knows they are moving out of the district is asked to return their school Chromebook and charger at this time also. Students who are returning to JC Schools for the 2020-2021 school year can keep their Chromebook to continue their learning over the summer.
Staff will adhere to social distancing guidelines and cleaning of hands and surfaces throughout the pick up times.
Any questions, please contact me at elizabeth.milhollin@jcschools.us .
Thank you,
Mrs. Milhollin

iReady Lessons
If your child brought home a Chromebook and they have a 1st Grade or Kindergarten sibling, the sibling can use the Chromebook for their iReady lessons too!
iReady works on iPads/iPhones or laptop/desktop computer and Chromebooks.
Your child(ren) had their usernames/passwords sent home on March 17. Misplaced their password? Contact your child's teacher by email to get it!
And YES! They can do both reading and math lessons everyday! The goal would be to spend about 30 minutes on reading and 30 minutes on math!
iReady licenses will be good through the end of June. Students can continue to logon and complete iReady lessons even after school's out for summer.
