A Letter from our Student Teacher!
Greetings Parents and Families!
I am Kristina Widerburg, an Elementary Education student studying at Utah State University. These next seven weeks, I have the privilege of student teaching in Mrs. Jenkins fourth grade classroom at Edith Bowen Laboratory School. As I will be interacting with your children on a daily basis, I wanted to let you know a little about myself. I absolutely loving teaching, and believe education is the key to creating a better world. Although I enjoy many different subjects, I specialize in teaching science. I just finished part of my student teaching experience in a second grade classroom, and learned a lot through working with the students and cooperating teachers. I have taught in fourth grade classrooms before, and absolutely love interacting and learning with fourth grade students. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you and your students!
Many Thanks,
Ms. Kristina Widerburg

Halloween Party!
Here’s the schedule for Halloween:
· We will have a “normal” morning and have regular humanities right after lunch.
Class party will begin at 1:30. Kristen Day is our room mother in charge of the party. If you'd like to help please contact her.
· 2:45 – 3:15 Halloween Parade, then pack up and go home right after.
· Students should bring costumes in a bag, they can change before the party.
· We are asking that there is none or limited face paint or crazy hair. If they need face paint we will request to come and apply it before the party.
