WMS Weekly Bulletin
August 13-17, 2018
8 days and counting...
Lots of logistics this week with meetings both here on campus and across the district.
I'll keep it short and simple: Being early is on time, being on time is late.
Please read through the whole bulletin and take care of all required tasks. As an admin team, we will put as much information in the weekly bulletins to avoid email overload throughout the week.
Here is this week's Professional Development Schedule. Be sure to register in Eduphoria for each session (links are in the titles highlighted in blue).
Go Warhawks! And, remember, you belong here.

Guidelines for Success: Vote to Approve
A guideline for success is a common expectation we have for all who are Warhawks. It is the model we will use to lead our scholars and ourselves to excellence. As a collection, these statements will be the code by which we live at Wellborn Middle School.
The following five statements are the culmination of staffulty work that started last April and continued through this July.
- Be Courageous
- Be Accountable
- Be Resilient
- Be Compassionate
- Be Involved
ALL staffulty must vote to approve the Guidelines for Success. We must have at least an 80% approval rating for it to pass. Click THIS LINK to place your vote.
PLEASE PLACE YOUR VOTE BY 4:00PM TUESDAY, AUGUST 14TH.
IMPORTANT: Furniture Inventory & Requests
1. Mark the furniture with a sharpie marker according to THESE DIRECTIONS.
2. Complete the Beginning of Year Inventory Form.
If you want to exchange furniture:
3. Complete the Request to Move Furniture Form. Note: Our custodial staff will move the furniture unless otherwise approved by Mrs. Mishler.
Introducing the WMS Go Page
It is still a work in progress - when we add new items we will let you know.
Professional Development Info & Expectations
In order to sign in and receive credit for professional development sessions, you must register in Eduphoria. The links are hyperlinked in the overview document (see link above).
Please note that when attending meetings in which you are representing WMS to other campuses, such as the Kickoff Rally, New Teacher University, and district subject area meetings, we wear professional attire. When we are together for in-house meetings, casual attire is fine.
**If you are missing staff development for any reason, please make sure you have emailed Mishler and submitted the absence in Aesop.
