How To Keep Passwords Safe
- Passwords should be seven to eight characters or longer
- Use combinations of uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers
- Don't use consecutive numbers or letters such as "abc" or "123"
- Try a passphrase- a sequence of words strung together to create a password
- Don't keep your passwords on devices such as your phone or iPod
- Don't write them on sticky notes and stick to your computer monitor
- Change your password regularly
- Don't give your password to anyone unless you trust them 100%
