Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is the nation’s largest youth employment program, connecting NYC youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experiences each summer.
Participants receive the opportunity to explore their interests and career pathways, develop workplace skills and engage in learning experiences that help to develop their social, civic and leadership skills.
By participating in structured project and work-based opportunities, NYC youth are better prepared for careers of the future. Click the button below for the application.
Parent School Surveys
Your feedback is important to us, and we understand that your time is valuable. For your completed parent survey, either online at NYCSchoolSurvey.org or on paper, your child will earn a coupon redeemable at our school snack store. It's our way of saying thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences.
The Department of Education is giving parents/guardians a choice of how to fill out the survey. Your child will bring home a paper survey for you, that you can fill out and have your child return (in the sealed return envelope with the green stripe) to the teacher of their Career class (grades 7-12) or Health class (grade 6).. Alternatively, you can complete the survey online at your convenience (enter your child’s OSIS number, with a lowercase f in front of it). You can also log into your New York City Schools Account (NYCSA) to complete the survey.
The deadline to complete the survey is April 5, 2024.
