Continuous Learning Weekly Challenges
Please check these out if you are looking for extra activities for your children.
The Continuous Learning Challenges are weekly choice boards specifically designed without technology in mind. The skill sets of the Continuous Learning Challenge are connected to Michael Fullan’s Deep Learning Competencies. These are great activities to ask your child to try on their own or with a little help. Your challenge is to complete at least two activities from each row for the week. An extra challenge is to create your own activities that would apply to each Continuous Learning Skill and complete them. Please share any examples of the completed challenges to social media tagging @EducateIN(link is external). Challenges

Turnkey Courses as Option for Continuous Learning
In the wake of COVID-19, Indiana districts and schools have been developing creative solutions to ensure that learning continues for the duration of the 2019-2020 school year. While many resources have been curated and created through these efforts, the following turnkey courses provide additional opportunities and flexibility for educators and students working to achieve standards mastery, earn credits, and/or engage in academic enrichment. These may also be useful as you determine possible summer opportunities or plan to address skills gaps.
Khan Academy:
●Content areas: ELA, Math, Science, History, Computing
●Grade-levels: K-12 including Advanced Placement
●Cost: FREE
●Link: https://www.khanacademy.org/
While Indiana University High School and Khan Academy have been identified as quality options for online learning, this does not serve as a curricular recommendation, nor does it guarantee that all required standards are covered through the curriculum. Indiana University High School and Khan Academy may not be the only providers of high-quality, turnkey resources. It is up to local educators to determine how to most effectively and appropriately use these turnkey resources. As always, resources that require the creation of student accounts should be screened to ensure that local, state, and federal student privacy laws and policies are met.
