Introduction
The American Revolution lasted from 1775 until 1783. The first shots were fired at Lexington, Massachusetts. The colonist were divided between Patriots and Loyalists. Before the United States and Great Britain signed the Treaty of Paris officially ending the war, there were many battles fought. One of the Battle that was important was the Battle of Brandywine. And that's the battle I'm writing about.
Location
The location of the battle of Brandywine is Chadds ford Pennsylvania.
General
The General of the British was General Howe. General Howe was the general who led the British to victory.
Fun fact
The Battle of Brandywine only lasted a day. It actually took several hours. So not even a full day.

The Battle of Brandywine started September 11,1775 and ended on the same day. The General of the British was a lad named General Howe. The Battle of Brandywine was a important battle to the American Revolution.
General Howe
There were a few Generals in the Battle of Brandywine. But I'm writing about one particular General, his name is General William Howe. General Howe was born August 10,1729 and died July 12,1814. General Howe was a British General, the General who led the British to their victory.

Conclusion
The Battle of Brandywine was an important Battle for the British to win. Part of the reason they won is because they had help from General Howe, and German Hessians (soldiers). The British soldiers were happy they won the war, so was General Howe. The Battle of Brandywine wasn't a very long battle, it only lasted several hours.
