It's Getting Closer!
Staggered Start
Staggered Start Schedule
The 4K program in Greenville County Schools will open school with a staggered start. This allows your child to start school in a smaller and supportive environment where our teaching team can focus on each child’s individual transition needs as well as conduct some beginning of the year evaluations. What does this mean for your child?
If your child’s last name begins with A-C, he/she will attend school on Monday, August 15 and then again on Monday, August 22 and every school day after that.
If your child’s last name begins with D-J, he/she will attend school on Tuesday, August 16 and then again on Monday, August 22 and every school day after that.
If your child’s last name begins with K-P, he/she will attend school on Wednesday, August 17 and then again on Monday, August 22 and every school day after that.
If your child’s last name begins with Q-T, he/she will attend school on Thursday, August 18 and then again on Monday, August 22 and every school day after that.
If your child’s last name begins with U-Z, he/she will attend school on Friday, August 19 and then again on Monday, August 22 and every school day after that.
School starts at 7:45am, but our carline begins as early as 7:15am and school dismissal is at 2:15pm. Please keep in mind that bus transportation for 4K children starts on Monday, August 22, but preschool special education bus transportation is available the week of August 15.
We look forward to a great year of working together in laying the foundation of future success for your child. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
