The Blueprint
Boonsboro Middle School Staff March 15, 2019
Well, that's MISA!
Besides a few make-ups, MISA is finished and went off without a hitch! Thank you for being flexible and pitching in to help whenever it was needed. A special thanks to our wonderful Counseling Staff for coordinating the test.
6th Grade Transition
We hosted our incoming 6th graders and their families on Wednesday and Thursday evenings this week. Both nights were fabulous and I greatly appreciate the help of our counseling staff, assistant principals, music teachers, custodians, WEB leaders/advisors, kitchen staff, Mr. Stottlemyer, Mrs. Webber, and Mrs. Lewis in making this event great. Check out the video Mrs. Bradley's theater students made to welcome our new students: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O_6OU35ZPGzFix7Vc5RKHgrOIeDeVt7t/view
Warrior Wednesday
This week's WW lesson is ELA PARCC Practice. Please be sure you understand how to get to the practice prior to Wednesday morning (talk your grade level's ELA teachers if you are unsure!).
Faculty Meeting--Bridge Over Troubled Water
Don't forget to wear or bring comfortable clothes and sneakers for Monday's Faculty Meeting! We will be in the large gym for a team building activity. Hopefully I didn't just jinx us with some freak snow storm, since weather has gotten in the way every time we try to plan this activity.
PTO Color Run
The PTO is hosting a Color Run on April 13th on the Boonsboro Campus. Please gather your family and friends to participate. Our PTO is very generous in supporting our requests throughout the year, so this is a great way to show our appreciation. Registration is $20. Artists Among Us!
Boonsboro Middle Life Skills students showing off their artistic talent at the Art Show. Hunter won first place, Chayton won second and James won third in their division. Hunter's art was sold to an artist at the library for $100.00! All art will be on display at the Valley Mall for the next two weeks and then Hunter's painting will be put in a glass case and placed in the Hagerstown Library. Could not be more proud of these students and their teacher, Ms. Kugler!
